About me

Hi there! I'm James. I'm a 5ᵗʰ-Year Mechanical Engineering Co-op student at the University of Alberta. Physics, adventure and the outdoors are my passions! I can often be found out exploring: rock climbing, skiing, biking, or hiking. As a musician, I play the piano at a grade 8 level and I am teaching myself to play the guitar; I often play to clear my head. While out exploring, there will likely be a camera in my hands as an amateur photographer. Innovation, discovery and creation are central to my life -  I love to learn how the world works and how I can make it a better place. 

I am an avid non-fiction reader and traveler, constantly trying to broaden my perspective on the world.  Design and hands-on work are both affinities of mine, fueling me to engage in personal projects and club work.
